What makes me an expert in communicating

As Executive Editor of The Sun and Assistant Editor of the Daily Express, I`ve been at the forefront of the media in Britain for more than 30 years.

I was on Christian name terms with four Prime Ministers, worked with business leaders like Rupert Murdoch, Richard Branson and Alan Sugar and rubbed shoulders with celebrities like Michael Parkinson, Rachel Hunter and Jordan.

At The Sun, I wrote a daily column read by 10 million people; I helped launch Sky Television; I worked as a speechwriter for David Cameron; I broadcast regularly on Michael Parkinson’s Radio 2 show; and I have  appeared countless times on the BBC, ITV and Sky and on radio stations around the world.

I still write political commentaries for the Daily Express and contribute Thunderer columns to The Times but my main work now is as a consultant, coach and speaker helping companies and people to communicate effectively.

I am proud to be the President of the London chapter of the Professional Speakers Association and a member of the International Federation For Professional Speakers.

I have supported Manchester City for 35 years, London Wasps for a long, long time, belong to the Royal Yachting Association and am studying for my Yachtmaster Offshore qualification. Does that float your boat?
